We are currently experiencing issues with our phone system that are affecting inbound calls.

If you call either the Elementary School or the Middle/High School and receive a busy signal, please try calling back. The call should go through on the second attempt.

If you continue to experience issues calling the school, or if you need assistance with ParentVUE, please email the Help Desk.

Thank you for your understanding and patience while we work to resolve the issue.

Verify Your Student Information in ParentVUE

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, all families are asked to log into ParentVUE to review and verify their student's information.

Please take a few minutes to confirm or update:

* Parent/guardian contact information
* Home and mailing address
* Phone numbers and email addresses
* Emergency contacts
* Health and medical information
* Other important student and family information

Keeping your information current ensures the school can communicate important announcements, contact you in the event of an emergency, and maintain accurate student records throughout the school year.

If you have not yet activated your ParentVUE account or need assistance accessing your account, please contact your school's office.

Thank you for helping us keep your student's information accurate for a successful 2026–2027 school year!

At the July 27th meeting, the Pipestone Area Schools Board of Education voted to hold a special election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Voters will be asked to consider an operating referendum increase (revoke the current referendum and replace with a new increased amount of $1500 per pupil) to help sustain the quality educational opportunities and programs the Pipestone Area Schools provides students each and every day.

Watch for more information and details in the days and weeks to come.

Athletic Registration & Participation

Students must complete all athletic eligibility requirements before participating in Pipestone Area Schools activities.

Visit our Activities Information page for forms, registration, athletic schedules, and additional resources:

Annual Requirements for Participation:
MSHSL Eligibility Statement
Sports Health Questionnaire

Every Three (3) Years:
Sports Physical (typically completed in 7th and 10th grade)
Concussion Baseline Test

If a student answers "Yes" to any question on the Sports Health Questionnaire, additional medical documentation from their healthcare provider must be submitted before participation.

Students may attend practice but may not participate until all required forms, physicals, and concussion testing have been completed and approved.

Pipestone Area Schools will soon begin using Bound for athletic registration. Once available, families will be able to complete the MSHSL Eligibility Statement and Sports Health Questionnaire online. Information about setting up a Bound account will be emailed to families later this summer. The Bound app will also be be used to view athletic schedules.

Learning by Doing!
Students in Ms. Wertish’s Landscape Design class recently put their skills to work on a project that will leave a lasting impact on our school campus. Working alongside Ms. Wertish and with assistance from Mr. Boomgaarden, students designed and installed the brick paver base surrounding a memorial bench near the athletic fields.
The project provided hands-on experience in site preparation, layout, leveling, and paver installation while helping enhance the beauty and functionality of the area.
The bench itself was donated by neighbors of Richard “Chuck” Schroyer, a longtime PAS teacher and coach who passed away in 2024.
Great work by our students and staff on a project that combined valuable career skills with community pride!
