|John Pollmann currently teaches vocal music to students in grades 5-12 at Pipestone Area School in Pipestone, MN. Mr. Pollmann graduated from Dell Rapids High School and then attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. After college, Mr. Pollmann taught for seven years in South Dakota before accepting a graduate assistantship at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. While at NAU, Mr. Pollmann directed the Men’s Chorale and served as assistant director of the Chamber Choir and Shrine of the Ages Choir while earning a Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting under the guidance of Dr. Edith A. Copley.
