Special Education Teacher

We are new Home Owners (Tyler, Trey and I)

I am a 2004 graduate from Pipestone Area Schools.  I left our community to attend Boise State University in Idaho.  While there, I played volleyball for the Bronco's and participated in many community service projects.  I was a high school varsity volleyball coach at Capital High School in Boise for 3 years and took my team to state.  I was fortunate enough to teach at an Expeditionary Learning Charter School known as Anser Public Charter School.  My first year I taught a first grade math class and was the K-4 Special Education teacher.  My second year I was fortunate to teach Kindergarten in the morning and run Eligibilty testing and meetings for K-8 Special Education in the afternoon.  I have taught a 3rd and 4th grade reading intervention group as well. I am very excited to be back in my home town.  Being gone for 7 years showed me what a great community Pipestone truly is.  I feel blessed that I am able to give back to the community that raised me.  I look forward to an amazing year.
