Girls on the Run (GOTR) in Pipestone will be in its 3rd year this year. The program is a national non-profit organization that uses a researched curriculum of lessons, games, and activities, and non-competitive running exercises to teach life lessons, enhance self-confidence, and build self-esteem in young girls! Examples of topics include positive thinking, being a good friend, making healthy decisions, and standing up for one's self. We end our GOTR season with all the girls participating in a 5K run! The program is for girls in grades 3-5 and takes place in the Spring. The registration form can be found here. Registration is limited so please get your registration form in as soon as possible.
We are always looking for volunteer female coaches for our GOTR program.
